A CCTV Survey:
- Looks inside the drain. (Work for pre-adaption
storm and sewer lines for DOE/Council.
- Shows the exact location of any defects.
- Allows the most cost effective repair.
- Can demonstrate that the system is in
good order.
- Ideal for house purchasers and surveyors.
Additionally, a written report is always
provided and an over-written tape is available at a small
extra charge.
New technology - The CCTV Survey
A camera survey, gives a far fuller picture
of the state of a drain than the pressure test provided. An
illuminated camera is passed through a drain system, giving
a view of the inside of the drainpipe. A defect can then be
accurately identified and located. If the drain is retaining
water, it must be cleared by High Velocity Water Jetting before
a camera can see inside the pipe.
A camera survey is of importance both to
a vendor and a house purchaser and can settle questions of
responsibility and financial liability in the future. In all
cases we will provide a written report. If an over-typed videotape
of the survey is required, it should be specified prior to
the survey being carried out.
