Blockbusters Environmental adopted the use of Trenchless Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP) technology in 2014 to make the process of repairing pipes quicker, cleaner and more environmentally friendly.
This new Trenchless CIPP technology offers an alternative to digging or lifting soil from roads, footpaths or private patio areas. This results in less disruption for the customer and surrounding neighbours, whilst making it easier for our expert teams to detect any issues underground and repairing them within a shorter time frame.
CIPP technology combines the use of heated fibreglass, UV rays and resin material to form a new pipe. Using this method, the pipes can then be cured as the old pipe is replaced from the inside with a newly installed pipe.
Using trenchless CIPP technology is a much better option for both our operatives and more importantly for custoers, but it is also more environmentally friendly as less vehicles and equipment are required, cutting down on fuel output and helping to protect nearby vegetation due to less digging.
